    Fighting the frost with very fresh fire: Any tips on exposure, I used Aperture priority, it works but the dynamic range in this kind of picture is enoooooormous. I think I needed a fill flash, but since I have no separate flash, this is it.

    Long Lens ... which one to dream about

    => very low budget for telephoto, but I do agree there is a lot of snobbish attitude in it. The primes are some of the best lenses around, that is why they can take teleconverters. This is not so for all zooms I heard, but I have little experience with those. If a zoom drops off at the end...
