Here's another with the 85 1.8 taken with the D7000. Nice sharp lens but for inside portraits it might be a little tight depending on the size of the studio.

Your shots could benefit some post processing. They seem to lack saturation and contrast for my personal taste. Your's might vary. Here is the correction I would have done to the duck. For the pelican, I don't see how the vignette improves the shot. It leaves no room around the subject and is...
