I've worked on this shot and had to use the filters in CS5 to give it more impact. Do you think this is too much effect? Is it still a photograph or has it become art?

Re: Today's Pic (not 265-2011 but maybe close) Went for a walk last night just before sunset. D700, Tamron 28-200, 1/2500, f 5.6, 1600 ISO. And PP sharpening, contrast, burn, saturation.

Ok, this is one of the 3 original shots the HDR was done from. As you can see, I do quite a bit of post processing to most of my images. Since I worked for a color lab in another life, I very much enjoy all the bells and whistles that photoshop gives me while not being in the total darkness.

I'm doing work with layers and paint effects and would like to have opinions different than mine about this. Same shot, one with brush effect.

Re: Today's Pic (not 265-2011 but maybe close) This one is special. This person will be 90 in 2 months and she used to be my piano teacher when I was 8. Working on her piano made both of us happy. When I was young, I was very fond of her.

Found this link in another forum. Very interesting photos all HDR showing the damage done around the Seinsei area where Nikon has it's factory. No wonder the plans for a new model could be delayed... With all there is to be done before life gets back in some kind of normality... So the wait for...

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CHALLENGE This was my second choice for this week's challenge until I tried the HDR version. This is what came out and I kind of like it. Maybe next time I'll wait a little before entering my submission.
