Post your Tokina 100mm Macro lens shots.

Too windy out for macro, but I found this dead fly on a spider web on the porch.

Post your Tokina 100mm Macro lens shots.

Yes, another post your xxxxxxxx lens/camera shots thread. So sue me. I'm excited that I just received this lens, and my initial impressions are pretty good. The lens lives up to all the positive reviews about sharpness. My first 2 shots, since I just got home, and it's the middle of the night...

    Blacktop's 366 day trip through 2016

Well, the little fella was still in the sink from this morning , so I got him out and took a few shots on my computer desk before he flew off to freedom. He's on the ceiling now. I thought about taking him outside, but there are a lot of spider webs out and I'm afraid he wouldn't last long...

    Blacktop's 366 day trip through 2016

I went to shave this morning, and this tiny little fellow was trapped in the bathroom sink. Taken with the Nikon 28-105mm half macro lens with the Raynox D250 attached . Used my Neewer flash with the flip down diffuser. Would have been better without the white sink, but oh well.

    Threesome in the backyard.

She hides her shame behind the flower! 70-300mm Nikon with the Raynox DCR 250- attached. (seriously need a proper macro lens)

Should I step across from FX to DX?

I agree with @BackdoorHippie on landscape gear. Some of my best landscapes are with the D7100 and the Tokina 11-16mm lens. That's not to say that the D750 and my 20mm 2.8 or the 24-120mm lens are a slouch when it comes to that, but honestly it's hard to tell the difference sometimes. The only...

    Internal focus or not?

That is the question. Does anyone have experience with using both of these type of lenses, and what are your thoughts on the pros and cons of each type of lens? I'm buying a macro lens , and after much research I have narrowed it down to the Tokina 100mm f/2.8. However it is not an IF focusing...
