Also took a Pano shot of the sunset tonight. Wasn't much of a sunset, because there were a lot of black clouds, but I managed a few shots regardless.

Took a 10 second exposure shot in near dark tonight, by my favorite spot on the river. Fall is IMO the best time to take shots at this spot, but since I have not done a long exposure here, I gave it a shot!

I had to selectively sharpen the eye to get it somewhat sharp without it looking over sharpened. The front leg, part of the antenna, and the leaf around the front leg was in focus. I had the focus point dead on the eye. Here is the shot without processing except to fix highlights and exposure...

If @jdeg ever gets the Marketplace sorted out, I'll have a 20mm AF-D for sale. Unless you're thinking about the newer 1.8 version.

Thanks everyone. I have moved on, but it's just this time of year I still think about it. For those that are newer here, this is my favorite Daisy shot.

It's a nice lens, but I need to AF tune it on the D7100. Also if there is a slightest breeze you can forget getting a sharp shot unless you have ISO turned up high. I had the focus point on the eyes on this shot, and they are soft. The legs are sharper.

My take on it. Toned down the all the overwhelming orange colors, sharpened the bird and the rocks, added a little more clarity to the foreground, added a little exposure to the birds eyes. Cropped the way I would have my own shot cropped.
