OK straight after the above advice I went and shot this bee. A year ago I might have liked this but now I don't. There is no way that this "eye" passes the test - not even close. You have 5 seconds before this image self destructs ... :onthego: But no more bleating - I know what I have to do.

Have taken a few shots using my Tamron 90mm for comparison purposes. The only difference between each shot is the aperture setting. Everything else remained untouched. I used the liveview to get the sharpest focus I could and the "50" was my focus point. All images are straight out of camera...

Does anyone use MacKeeper? Just wondering how good it is and if it is worth the money.

I'm having fun learning what the NIK tools have to offer. I could have done this photo in any of a number of interesting ways but I set out to try something along the soft focus lines and stuck to my plan. Might go back and do some of the other more artistic stuff.

Scott Murray here is a macro I just shot. Tamron 90mm with Tokina 1.4X TC I used the on camera flash as is with no diffuser. It was sitting on a car bonnet that had a million specs of dust - nit sure how the processing to eliminate them came out. Your comments appreciated.
