Weekly Challenge Sept 30th- October 7th: " Fall landscape"

Here is mine (don't know if I'm allowed to participate since I'm both judge and jury, but I promise not to make myself a winner unless there is unanimous vote for me). Three exposures photomatix treated shots with the D600 and the 24-120 f-4 lens.

    Marcel's 366__2012

Day 281, October 7th I was traveling all day yesterday and never got a chance to shoot. So I refer you to the days I made more than one presentable shot. Today is our Canadian Thanksgiving and what better than a harvest photo to picture it.

    Post your 'ALMOST' Photos..

Here is one I did the other day without checking my shutter speed. 1/15s doesn't quite make it acceptable for hand held portraits...

Well, I had the pleasure to meet Jack tonight. He was kind enough to come around and meet me in Calgary. We had a good time and had to take pictures, had good laughs. Quick shots heavily cropped with the camera standing on a table lamp... But it worked! Cheers!

    Marcel's 366__2012

Day 275, October 1st I'm in Calgary now for work but took time on my lunch hour to get these shots. Unfortunately, I was to rushed to even look at my settings and there is only one pic that's acceptable. 1/15s for portrait is just NOT fast enough... Anyway, here are the pics (she was charming)

Movie to see for photo fans

I just came back from the movies. "Samsara" is a movie to see if you ever get a chance. It's strictly almost just photography, but WOW, great images, fantastic time lapse and things that I'll probably never have the chance to see in my life. I highly recommend it.

Day 272, September 28th Man do I ever like this D600 thing. It's amazingly sharp. Here are some pics done in jpeg medium fine that were taken with my small light Tamron 28-200. Iso 1600. Quite a nice sensor!
