Day 183, July 1st
Well, I got a surprise today. We drove to Maine for a day of sun and sea and I had taken my D90. But, I forgot the battery in the charger…Duh. So I had to use my little Canon powershot to do my daily pic.
I sure missed the file from the D90.
Day 182, June 30th
Well, it's sunny and hot and at the end (where I turn around) of my cycling ride, I got this panorama. Shot vertical and merged with CS5. D90, 28-85 3.3-4.5, iso 200, 1/200 f16.

Day 181, June 29th
This person has been a faithful customer for over 30 some years. She is a pillar of her community and has given me tons of referrals. I did her portrait for my book project last year but was not happy with my shot. So I try again. Either I moved or she did, cause the shot is...
No takers yet. So I'll post another pic.
Taken with only a window in the shade that was about 12 feet from the subject, iso 3200, 1/40s @ 2.8. It was dark is all I can say but the D700 captured what light was there with quality to it.
I think it's about time D700 users get together to show the great high iso files the D700 can produce. So, I'm starting this thread for all of you to post your results in low light high iso situations.
I'll start it with one of mine:
D700, 16-35 f4 VR, 1/30s f4, iso 5000
Day 174, June 22nd
Just the inside of a flower done while I was lazying on the hammock. Way too hot to do anything serious today. Hope humidity goes away tomorrow.
