I have been looking for a thread that explains how to set the camera/memory card so that image numbers are consecutive and continue from last taken even when old ones have been deleted. Can anyone show me where this is or how it is done? D5100 is the camera in question.

So last night I was reading a mag and one of the things that came up is using a "Full frame or APS-C DSLR" - at 11.00 pm this is Greek to me and in the cold light of day it still seems to be Greek to me. No offence to our any members from Greece. Can someone explain what APS-C DSLR means (I...

I cheated in this photo - at first glance it looks like surfer with how own chute. But … the chute in shot belongs to another surfer to the left of my subject. LOL. I have called it "Use your own chute!"

Just wondering where you all store your photos. I know some guys use flickr - are there any other options. I was thinking iCloud. I want to delete the bad ones and keep the ones that I currently like (not many) before I have too many to sort out. Good idea to start now.

    Photo Sizes

I read somewhere to size the photos to 1000 px at longest end and have been doing that. If not they get the chop anyway from the software on here. But when posting my photos they come out smaller than what I see some of the others are. Can someone explain? And while I have your attention is...
