August 3rd, I had time to shoot a few today. D700, sigma 105 2.8 macro.
This one's not too sharp but the interest is that I realized later that the poor bee was being eaten by a small white spider.
August 2nd, just as I went to friend's of Bill meeting, I took this shot with my D700 and 16-35mm f4. Processed in Photomatix 5 shots .7 exposure difference.
July 27th. Beach day. It is only a 3.5 Hrs drive from home to the beach in Maine. Ah, the sound of waves...
I treated this shot to give it a look of good old times when ektachrome could get a little washed out with over exposure.
I think your outside images (second one specially) are a little over exposed and the colour temperature is wrong. But all could be taken care of with a little post processing.

Not very interesting photographically speaking, but I'm having concrete poured in my basement so this is what seems to be the almost final episode with my basement… at last. Here is Christian with the machine to level it. It should be dry by tomorrow I hope.
