The Tundra Swans are returning for the winter.

Early morning over the lake.

Poor shot, gray overcast day and early morning but this is one of the nesting pair of bald Eagles at the State Wildlife Preserve. And he flew in from behind before I really had a chance to see him.

This Bald Eagle came from behind me and I spotted him a little late. Maybe next time :(

Stopped for a few minutes at the lake today. Windy and rather cold so very few birds on the lake. Did spot this guy, I had thought they were all gone as I had not seen one for at least a month.
