    Clutter, clutter, clutter ... aaaarrrrgh!

What is wrong with me? This month and next I am trying to concentrate on landscapes and no matter what I do I can't seem to compose anything. So frustrating. I am inspired by Lars Van de Goor and his photos are really simple but very compelling. Something anyone would want to hang on their...

What is Lawrence up to - 2015?

The idea behind taking this shot was to include it in my collection of background shots for use later on in PS. I don't do much by way of changing photos but have seen some good results where the background has been appropriately changed. Be a shame not to be able to use it.

Great owl shots @Friggs Brad ( @Ironwood ) a definite improvement. I had no idea they were so green. But then I don't know much anyway. :)

    Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 on D7100

I went out later this afternoon when the light was better and took a few more test shots. I am very, very happy with this lens at this stage and think my landscaping life has taken a turn for the better. Charlie @RocketCowboy you may want to see these to give you an indication of this lenses...

    Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 on D7100

Juat got this lens and as @RocketCowboy is clearly bored I thought i would post some test shots. But first ... Wonderfully built - almost like Bo Derek but then its hard to beat 10 (even in stops) This thing is fast! Like a roadrunner ....! and smooth ... No apologies for the shots as it...

What is Lawrence up to - 2015?

My daughter and son-in-law came to visit today just so I could shoot them. Took heaps of photos; mostly with my new nifty fifty and boy is it a good little lens. The first two of many to come off the block.

What is Lawrence up to - 2015?

it (the 60mm) will be awesome for portraits @RON. I now have a bunch of portrait lenses: Nikon 35mm 1.8, the Nikon 50mm 1.8 and the Tamron 90mm f2.8 macro. I am hoping to add the Sigma 50-150 f2.8 to my arsenal next week and would even use that for the compression and soft creamy smooth bokeh...

    A perfect Photograhy afternoon ...

Just got back from work and the sun is a glorious golden colour. About an hour out from sunset and it is going to be a brilliant one and yet ... I just don't feel motivated enough to get the camera and tripod out and go and shoot something spectacular. Sure it will be a bit cold out there...
