It's been a while since our temperature is so so miserable for doing outdoor pics. We attended cooking class last night and I thought I'd share what the D700 with 55 1.2 was able to capture under not so favorable light and high iso.

Re: Fuji X10. Yes I know it's not a Nikon Here is a severe crop I did from a snapshot in France last month. I thought the shoes were indeed extremely interesting but I was amazed at the sharpness of this little bugger's lens.

Just for fun with the reverse ring, Sigma 105 macro aperture blades. A bit shabby because I was too lazy to get the tripod out so it's hand held and blurred a bit.

Here's a shot I just did with the 55 1.2 at f4 with the reverse ring. A few tests for exposure and then just some color correction to overcome the color cast of my light.

So let's see if @jdeg sees this and has an answer for us. :)

One more of blueberry tree fall colours.

October 20th, still playing around with the D600 and 55 1.2 but added the +2 close-up filter on it. This is a blueberry shrub that I planted this spring. Although we only ate about 5 blueberries, it does have a very nice coloring in the fall. Straight jpeg out of camera only resized with CS6

October 19th, We raked some leaves and just before taking the patio table in, I got these pictures with the 55 1.2.

October 18th with the D700 and Tamron 28-200

Few shots from this October 17th rainy morning with the D700 and 28-80. This lens is my lightest lens and it often sits on the D700.

HDR of the river down the street done tonight And a shot from last week. I was a little cowboy to do a hand held shot of 1/4 seconds. Thank Nikon for the mirror up function.

October 15th, seems that the warm weather won't help this sunflower anymore. I've taken a few shots of it while it's going back to earth. It changes every day.

With the D700 and cheap (or supposed to be) 28-80 3.3-5.6 plastic Nikkor lens.
