    After a couple warm days the river is open again. The bridge on the right is Wrightsville Bridge and the one on the left is Wrights Ferry Bridge. It is about a mile across the river here. The white dots are Gulls.

    Not a lot of people parking on this lot. That's about 6 inches of solid pack snow and ice. In fact you can walk on top of it. Many of the recreational areas around are actually closed. This one is open but you have to walk in. Not an easy walk.

    A few birds on the little open water. This time of year there would normally be hundreds of waterbirds on here. As you see the rest is totally frozen.

    Any bare ground is better than snow. The creek flows into the lake here and the warmer water and southern exposure has melted off a small area and the hill side.
