I've often thought it would be nice if we had a travel thread to showcase photography from various destinations so I'll start here with my shots from Gettysburg. I started another thread called illegally obtained photographs due to the fact that this national Park was closed, it is now reopened...

I'll document my incursion into Gettysburg National Park here. These will all be iPhone shots until next week. From this morning, crossed the barrier on Confederate Ave.

Some members here have established that shooting in Q mode may increase sharpness due to less mirror slap. I'm assuming that with this new Qc mode, an entire bracketed set may be sharper? I'm curious as the majority of my shots are for HDR, ​Thoughts?

This lens and sensor resolution is amazing, I'd say about a 400% crop?

Sigma 35mm 1.4 "Art" series and dock. This was actually a present from my wife for my 50th birthday :).

Focus point on the left eye (his left) @ f1.6, cropped about 100%

Here's a couple examples I shot with my 35mm 1.4 lens. At 35mm, you need a really wide aperture. The first is at f5 and the second at f1.4,

Does anyone do this? I'm just wondering if it effects the speed between shots or has any other negative impact.
