    Backyard Birding

Some more results, all shot with the D600 and 70-200 f4. I'm at about 16 ft away, looking forward to the V2 and f1 adapter to give me a 540mm FoV with the 70-200. Will be interesting to compare results.

    Nikon V2 and F1 Adapter-recent article

Great article on the V2 and 70-200 f4 combo using the F1 adapter. This inspired me to pick up the adapter as I have the 70-200 f4 and the V2 on the way. Pretty impressive! Capturing birds in flight with a Nikon 1 V2 and FT-1 adapter

    Best lenses for the D800E

Found this to be interesting since I guess the D800E would be the current benchmark for resolution in Fx. I was pleased to see two of my favorites, the 70-200 f4 and the 18-35g which is a fantastic value. Best lenses for the Nikon D800E camera | Nikon Rumors

    Backyard Birding

I'm slowly getting into birding and have begun creating a birding spot in my backyard. Unfortunately, I have a small yard, no view and a chain link fence. Thinking forward I planted a bunch of Blue Princess Holly to create a backdrop (in about 5 years it should cover the fence). This holly also...
