Nikon released a handy comparison of the D800/D800E and D810 It looks to me like this could have very well been called the D900 when you consider that the D610 was merely a shutter fix with a couple new things thrown in.

Would you use a non-Nikon battery? This is assuming that it works the exact same as the Nikon battery and has a 1900mAh rating or higher. I know there's the Wasabi batteries, but there are also a couple other no name's out there from China.
