Sold a Verizon Unlimited data plan, kept my number & moved to AT&T

I've been wanting to do this for a while. The move from Verizon to AT&T is saying a lot since I've had my number with Verizon for about 14 years. I had a rare unlimited data plan on Verizon. I don't need it anymore, and they've been selling for a lot lately on ebay. Exactly what I did is...

    Used a Nikon rifle scope.

Over the weekend I got a chance to use a Nikon Monarch scope and compared it a bit to some others. I really liked it! It was very sharp and would almost have to get one if I had a rifle to put it on. Anyone else have this other form of Nikon glass?

Likes system updated - Best answer, Unthank/Unlike and Dislike added

I updated the like system today to include some new, hopefully useful features. Some of you suggested that we add a Unthank/Unlike in case something is clicked by mistake. This has been added. I want to try out a Dislike button. If it doesn't work or causes too much trouble, I'll disable it...

Powering your Nikon DSLR with the sun

I found an interesting DIY about powering your Nikon DSLR with a solar charger/battery or other 12v source. My first thought is that this would be great for someone looking to do time lapse or if you are in a remote area with your camera for a while and don't want to bring a bunch of batteries...

    Fotasy quick strap review

The Fotasy strap is a Black Rapid like strap for about 1/4 the price. I picked mine up on Amazon for just under $19. The seller, Rainbow Imaging appears to sell various Fotasy branded items on Amazon & eBay, which I can't seem to find anywhere else. I'm guessing that this is their brand name...

    Paris Catacombs Horror Movie

I'm really glad I didn't see this before I went there. It's creepy enough as is... I dug out some photos I took. It's very difficult to take pics down there since it's dark, no flash allowed, and I didn't have a tripod. I believe all of them were taken with the 10-24mm as well, so no VR...
