    Need a small bag

@carguy Thanks for your quick reply. I do need some weather proofing, we are going to Ireland. It rains, a lot! :o I was going to mention that I don't really like the holster type case, my opinion is that they scream out CAMERA & make me look like a tourist. ;)

Anyone seeing malware popup links here?

@mikew There's no issues with the site that I cans see. "McCrappy" is the king of False Positives, it's more likely that your computer has some infection, or just that your security software is trying to justify it's place on your computer. Scan with Malwarebytes & Adwcleaner.

    Need a small bag

I'm shortly to be getting a D810 with 24-120mm f4 lens & will be taking it on holiday (vacation). I will only take the single walkabout lens & need something suitable to carry it. Can anyone suggest a small bag that would carry just the body with lens attached? It would need to be water-proof...

Well worth checking out some of those photos, I think some of the perched birds & flower close-ups are excellent. https://www.facebook.com/OliverHellowellPhotographer/photos_stream

    Which ND filter?

Living on an Island taking landscapes, a lot of these will include the sea. On occasion, I would like to slow the shutter right down to get some nice water images. If I could buy a single (Hoya) ND filter for my projected landscape outfit of D610 + Nikkor 16-35mm f4, which strength should I get?

    Lowepro backpacks

Thanks Scott Here's the only measurement I need: The inside of the bag measurement where the purple line is. This would give me what length lens I can stand upright in the dividers rather than laying them flat. I suppose my specific question is can I sit a lens of 5" in the bag. Enjoy the...

    Lowepro backpacks

Does anyone have any of the Lowepro backback range? I have some questions about how lenses fit depth-wise. Lowe pro give internal dimensions of their backpacks, but I don't know if the depth dimension includes things like the front pockets. So if the listed internal depth of a backpack is 6.5"...

    Adobe Creative Cloud

I have recently bought the Adobe PS & LR Creative cloud software. I keep my Intel i7 Windows 7 pc running very lean & notice anything unusual. The Creative Cloud application runs in the system tray, creating at least 5 Adobe tasks running in the background which use around 113mb of RAM. Since...

    Lightroom catalogue

I downloaded & installed LR & PS. The end of the PS download failed & when I clicked on LR to have a look, LR went through a wizard to create a catalogue. I had to cancel out of this & now don't know how to set my catalogue to a new location. "File, new catalog" doesn't seem to do it. Can...

    70-200mm f4 advice please

@photogramps Thank you for your reply. I understand that the 70-200mm f2.8 handles teleconvertors more effectively than the f4 model. Unfortunately the full pro level glass is out of my budget. As I prefer to stick with Nikon glass, I have not looked at the Tamron. I considered the 80-400mm...
