I have been trying to get a picture of this gator for about three years and it has always been in the water with just his head showing. I spotted him today on the grass and ran down to get a shot and I had time enough for one shot and then he jumped into the water.

I picked my mom up from the nursing home and took her for a ride so she could see some outdoors. This bird about the size of a turkey was walking near the road so I took a shot of it from the car. I'm not sure what it is but it was pretty big. I'm thinking it my be a turkey vulture?

I thought I would show you the original picture that my previous post was cropped and blown up from. This shot looks like something that you would delete right away but with the bigger D600 file, good glass and a couple clicks in post processing you can still have something worth looking at. Now...

I don't know why but the top of this little pine tree just caught my attention so I took a shot of it.

I was sitting in my car watching an Eagles nest when I saw this weed growing in a ditch near my car so I took a shot to see how it would come out. Nikon D600and 70-200VR lens with 2X teleconverter. Another one shot out the window of my car, I'm getting lazy.

I think this is a Thrush that I spotted up on an electrical line while out shooting today.

It has been raining here lately and several of my shots this past week have been taken from the window of my car, along with this one.

It is raining here today but on the way over to see my mom in the nursing home I spotted this Great White Egret so I pulled the car over and shot it out of my car window. Nikon D600 and 70-200VR with 20E III 2x extender shot hand held.

I was out taking pictures of the Osprey when I spotted this shrimp boat about a half mile away so I shot a frame to see how it would come out. I was happy with it.

Lensgrabber, it says it is OK to edit your pictures to help show you something. I don't do this very often but I did want to show you how much just one click on Auto color and one click on sharpen in photoshop can change a picture. I hope this is OK with you.
