8/20/2013 The pool is coming along nicely. The green is starting to give way to a more greyish color. That's dead algae, totally a good thing. I backwashed my filter and got a lot of ick out of there. I'm completely happy with the progress. It won't be long now before it's crystal clear again!

No Pool Nazi would be caught dead without the proper tools. This is a mini magnetic stirrer from the Mad Pool Nazi Chemistry Set. The all important pressure gauge. This lets me know when the filter is full of dead algae! It's only been a few hours, and it's already getting clearer!

I took six photos trying to get the proper composition. It hit me as I posted the photo above I had all of them wrong. So I went out and took another one. This is the photo that will be telling the story from here on out.
