Took this picture of my grandson last night at his pre school program. This was taken at the front edge of the stage where there was very little light so I ended up shooting it at F2.8 with a ISO of 6400 to be able to get it.

Gator I shot yesterday but couldn't post.

Mot much going on today. This one was a considerable distance away with a very heavy crop.

Kevin, I will post the original out of camera shot and the cropped processed version so you can compare the two. I would like to add that after taking these pictures handheld and the eagle flew off I noticed that the VR was turned OFF on the lens.

This is only the second time I have ever seen an eagle in the wild and I spotted it today. This is a heavy crop and shot with a Nikon 70-200VR with a 20E III 2x extender using a D600 handheld.

I tried this once a couple of years ago and this is what I managed to get.
