Newer buildings have been built all around the Cathedral, it was hard at times to try and isolate it from the modern buildings.

I was in Brisbane on wednesday to watch a football game, I had a couple of hours to spare in the afternoon. I walked the streets for a few blocks radius from my hotel looking for photo opportunities, I found this lovely old Cathedral.

Just as a matter of interest because of the discussion about the moon looking different, I compared these shots. The first one taken at 7.30pm 22nd June, the second taken at 5am 24th June. I can only assume from these that it does rotate some, or at least our view of it changes as it moves...

I took these at about 5am on 24th June/13. Both are magnified to about 100%. First one handheld D7100, 70-300VR @300mm, f9 , 1/1250 sec, ISO 200 This one was taken with the same settings, but was taken @220mm, to see if it looked any different. I think I'll stick to 300 for moon shots.
