I had the 55mm macro lens on, this is about 7 feet from the camera, the spider is about 7-8 inches from tip of back leg to tip of front leg.     # 4 Late with this one as well, as I described in my "52 Altered" thread. I have chosen one of the Red-backed Wren shots for this week. They are a fairly rare sight at my place, I don't see them very often at all.

    I took this series of some Red-backed Wrens. The males in breeding plumage have red feathers on their backs, so these are either females, or youngsters, or males in the off season, or a combination of the above.
