#3 This week I am going with this shot of the Green Tree Ant Cosmophasis.

Another Spider from yesterday, I only had the chance to clean these ones up tonight. This is a male Cosmophasis Bitaeniata, also known as a Green Tree Ant Cosmophasis, because it has evolved to have the same smell as the ants, enabling it to raid the ant nests of the lavae.

I found a new Jumping Spider this afternoon in the garden, it was having a Cockroach meal. One of the biggest I have yet seen , about 15mm long ( 5/8" ). When I find an ID for it I will add it here.

#2 I had another image earmarked for this spot, but after reducing the image to post here, it seemed to be a bit soft looking. So I have gone to plan B, and selected this image of my creek.

Week- #2 Used an image I took last year, ( too busy in daylight hours and crappy weather has restricted my shooting ) Nik tools, Analog Efex Pro 2 - Rotate and zoom filter, and last 2 used Silver Efex Pro 2 as well.... Original

I will do two 52 threads this year, this one will be for an image that I have altered in some way using post processing. I use Apple Aperture, NIK tools, and Affinity photo, so it could be using just one of those programs or a combination. I will post a before and after photo each week...

After a suggestion from Blacktop Pete, I have decided to post my favourite shot of the week here. There will be no topics, just the image that I like the most. If all goes to plan, I should have 52 of 'em by the end of the year :)
