I have decided that my decision line is $300.... if the repairs cost under $300, I'll have it repaired. :nonchalance:

I have the 2-ring model. Basically the same lens. And, yes they are very good. I'm particularly impressed with the focus field. Great lens for a reasonable price.
Well, this is the last of this series. I saved my favorites for the end. I've always been a fan of "found objects". Subjects that just appear without plan or purpose.
Having been raised in a big city, I didn't have much contact with wildlife. So, this was a pretty cool experience. I was driving down a farm road and all of a sudden I came upon a pasture with a bunch of horses grazing. I stopped for some photos.
