I'll miss my 12-24/4 DXII while it's gone. It is definately my favorite DX lens. :cower: I have decided that my decision line is $300.... if the repairs cost under $300, I'll have it repaired. :nonchalance: If the repair costs are over $300, I'm going to buy the newer 12-28/4 Tokina...

I have the 2-ring model. Basically the same lens. And, yes they are very good. I'm particularly impressed with the focus field. Great lens for a reasonable price.

Well, this is the last of this series. I saved my favorites for the end. I've always been a fan of "found objects". Subjects that just appear without plan or purpose.

I really like the D3300. It's as convenient as a pocket camera and the processing is excellent.

Some barns from Medina County, Ohio.

Having been raised in a big city, I didn't have much contact with wildlife. So, this was a pretty cool experience. I was driving down a farm road and all of a sudden I came upon a pasture with a bunch of horses grazing. I stopped for some photos.

Walk-n-Shoot....... anything that comes my way. If it's colorful, or has good angles, I'm on it. D3300 with 18-55 VRII lens.
