Nice colors. Composition is not bad, either, though it could be corrected a bit by cropping and framing (I know that some of us do not approve framing, but what can I do, I am VERY fond of it:o):

It will work GREAT as a portraiture lens - it is sharp, has a good bokeh and low amount of distortions. Here is a portrait taken with 24-120mm set to 50mm, f/4, D7000, from a distance of ~ 1,5 meter:
