This is a beautifully restored village where the LDS congregation were first established before moving west and eventually settling in Utah. It was a rough time for them in Ohio (Google it) and they decided to move on.
This was a German immigrant church school; established in 1867.
Shoppes and bistros have replaced abandoned storefronts.
An empty trash filled lot has been turned in to a same community park.
There are an unbelieveable number of churches in a small area.
