Hellebores are flowering in Australia at the moment. Cold and wet. Great varieties. 3 from my garden.

Okay, I braved that crazy wind out here this morning and grabbed a couple of shots with the D7200 It's taking me a while to get used to it but overall, it's a nice piece of work.

I like Thai food and so, have a Kaffir Lime tree growing in the back garden. Whilst I use the leaves more than the fruit, the fruit skin can be grated into a stir fry or a green curry, along with the thinly sliced leaves.

A Grevillea, flowering quite happily. There are about 8 flowers on the shrub at the moment.

Camellia 'Volunteer'. Masses of flowers. A good bush for brightening up a dull, wintery garden.

Wish I could say I grew them, but I didn't. Beautiful colours of pink & green.

Whilst my Cymbidium orchid was blooming, I thought I'd take the opportunity to photograph it. I'm disappointed that I don't know the variety.

My 'Princess Eucalypt' is flowering and producing all those beautiful white stems and gumnuts. Following this is a Hebe, covered in flowers at the moment here in Melbourne, Australia. (Autumn)

New to this thread. My first photos with the 150-600 Tamron, from last night. Nice moon in Melbourne, Australia. I took about 30 shots to get 8 okay pix. This is probably the favourite.

@paul14086 I used my Tamron 150-600 for the first time. Hard to get used to and I was surprised how fast that bloody moon moved! I call myself a beginner but I'm happy with the results. Cheers!

New Tamron 150-600 lens. 1st photos. Took about 20 shots to get 10 'okay' ones. This is probably the best.

Tried a new lens last night. Clear sky with an 'almost' full moon.

Whilst I should have taken a wide shot of the two silos, this will have to do, I'm afraid. Soaring about 50 metres into the air, I was fascinated by the vine that had strangled them. Is it Wisteria? I don't know but it made for some interesting photos. I found a dragon...:)

A 1930s silo near Melbourne, Australia is now being used as a restaurant named 'The Piggery'. Extremely popular with locals and tourists alike, self sustainment is the key. Growing their own vegetables, including truffles, which I think are the only truffles produced in Australia, it has 2 silos...
