I would rather have a D750 and a D7200 vs 1 D810 unless I was shooting studio work or landscape exclusively. Not even close @Bill16. The question for you tho as you make that huge leap is will that satisfy your NAS GAS? Either choice is an immense commitment.....but with the D750/D7200 combo...

What are you planning to shoot with the new bit of kit @Blacktop ? I am planning on the Nikkor AF-s VR 300 f4 and the 1.4 TC for shooting surfing in mostly bright light. I intend to rent and demo however before handing over the$$$$!

@Bill16 the local craigslist guy here is motivated and is dropping the price here....looks pretty legit. Not a huge market around here for high end stuff like an Nikkor 85 f 1.4D! Maybe you should reach out and see if the guy is open to trades he states in the add he is still shooting Nikon...
