The girlfriend I had back in the 90's that first introduced me to photography had taken over the guest bathroom of my apartment and turned it into her darkroom for processing b&w photos. Now, this is what I'm doing my development on these days... :)

I thought the fences in Santa Fe NM were pretty unique... (my wife actually composed that shot, so I can't take any credit for it other than bringing the camera along)

A few pictures from our trip to Santa Fe NM last weekend... Sadly, I don't know the names of either of these types of flowers.

Great idea! Like @Eyelight, I don't think I'm "long standing", but add me to the rotation down the road if one of the volunteers needs to rotate out and you need people to backfill.

I'm seeing different gradients in the sky, but I'm thinking it's artifacts from editing a jpeg in LR and then saving again. It feels over-exposed, or HDR'ed like @kluisi mentioned, but I'm pretty novice here with LR too. My preference has been to shoot RAW, but I'll also shoot RAW+JPG at times...

Thanks @singlerosa! I was aware of the blending with image #2, but thought maybe I had gotten enough light to pull it off. I also wasn't digging the rope around the base to keep people off the sculpture, but I couldn't find a way to get the shot without that there. I don't know if a flash would...

Today's installment from the previous weekend... Changing things up a bit, I found myself walking with just the 55-300 kit lens mounted. I was trying to get some bird pics, but these were the best I could salvage from the day.
