    Regional threads?

Wondering if this would be a good idea. It could benefit some photogs by being able to get group photowalks within their area. Maybe post up any regional ongoings as well. Just a thought.

So last night went out into the cold... my always trusty D90 however was not so...

I could not really say old faithful was faithful to me last night. The camera started acting all buggy in the cold weather. Overexposed shots... Flashing green LCD screen... Then getting a "CHA" error code. While it was only 36* out with the windchill it felt much much colder, and being right...

Hi all, You can add me to the list of D90 users! lol

You could always sell off one of the other cameras you have to help fund the 105mm. They are great lenses for the money... and more than likely one of the other 2 cameras will end up finding their way onto a shelf. If you have a D3100 and 5100, no need to keep both, as they are both very...

Just picked up a Yongnuo YN-560II...

When installed on my D90 in M mode, the shutter ended up locking up taking either really dark photos, really overexposed photos or half a photo. Anyone else have this problem? Shut it down, put on my SB-600 and no problems... back to normal. My intentions with the lens is more for running it...

When is the right time to use flash?

OK, I've watched plenty of videos on youtube on how to set up lighting for portraits and the like... but provided you do not have a light meter, when should it be necessary? Excluding portraits and events... I'm just referring to your everyday out and about. Provided you took all other...
