I think this is a Clapper Rail. The first photo it has a carpet beetle hanging on to its face. They don't usually show up here but we think this one was blown off course from the Hurricane. It stayed for a few weeks.
The Bobolink visits for their breeding season and leave as soon as the babies are able to take care of themselves. They are pretty easy to get a picture of during the mating part of the season, but after that it's quite a bit harder.
This is a male Red Headed Woodpecker who was really enjoying the Mulberry tree that grew up in our yard. A lot of the birds really love it when the berries are ripe.
This is a female Summer Tanager she visited us this spring for a while until she figured out all the boys were at the other end of the street. The others were taken at the gun range in Borden IN.
This is a Prothonotary Warbler taken at Benjy Kinman WMA/ Lake. They love this lake and this one was sitting on a stump beside our boat almost an arms reach from Andy.
