I use Lightroom, and sometimes Nik tools DFine. I'm by no means a sharpening expert... I basically whizz the sliders around until it look better! Like @Pretzel says, go too far then back off a bit!

Hi Mike, I have upgraded from the D3100 just like @Pretzel, and what he says is exactly what I found too. It is intuitive enough to pick up and start using easily - You can then start to experiment and learn the advanced stuff as you go.

From your photo Wendy, and those from @Moabman & @MoabLady, this is somewhere I have added to my "MUST visit" list! I'm sure my wife mentioned a distant relative who she has never seen, who lives in Salt Lake City... Could be time to save up for a family reunion! lol
