    Link: Selling All Nikon Glass?

I just choose manufacturer based on value for money - I think the Nikon 35mm & 50mm primes are amazing value for money - But now I'm in the market for a 105mm f2.8 macro and a 70-200mm f2.8 and Nikon struggle against cheaper lenses that seem just as good from Sigma & Tamron in my eyes. @Eduard...

Thanks everyone! I will post some of the shots once I get them done... I'm very happy with the flash unit thanks, @Marcel - From going to never having used one to taking the kind of shots I was, I don't think the flash could have been any more intuitive. If anyone is looking for a flash at less...

    In at the deep end...

Not sure what section to post this in.... Well today was interesting! I had my camera bag in the car, as I often go for a short walk at lunch time to get some air. It turns out there was a cake sale in the building in aid of Macmillan cancer support and a colleague asked me to get some shots...

Is it Ham or is it Bacon?

So we are mostly Bacon fans... Now, anyone for Black pudding? Personally, I don't think you can beat a bacon & black pudding sandwich with HP sauce and a good cup 'o tea.. ( @wreckdiver1321 certainly knows his stuff!)

Show Focus Point plugin for LR

Hi All, I just found a plugin for Lightroom that shows your focus point information for your shots. I have tried it, and it is a bit clunky to use (Only from Library view) but it could be useful for diagnosing those shots that don't come out how you expect! PLUG-IN: Show Focus Point Lightroom...

What software do you use for Sharpening

I use Lightroom, and sometimes Nik tools DFine. I'm by no means a sharpening expert... I basically whizz the sliders around until it look better! Like @Pretzel says, go too far then back off a bit!

Former D90 owners who now use D7100/D7000

Hi Mike, I have upgraded from the D3100 just like @Pretzel, and what he says is exactly what I found too. It is intuitive enough to pick up and start using easily - You can then start to experiment and learn the advanced stuff as you go.
