Looking for a macro flash bracket

If you got a wireless transmitter, you could hold the flash with your other hand or place it wherever you wanted off camera.

    Z7ii on sale now

If you are happy with what pops out of your Z5 without cropping, there isn't much difference. If you try cropping images coming out of the Z5 and are unhappy with the results, there is a substantial difference. The AF and IBIS is similar enough to not really notice a big difference. The...

    memory cards for the Zf

HERE is the Nikon list of recommended memory cards to use for the Zf. I find it odd that the micro card can go up to 1TB but is restricted to UHS-I whereas the main card appears to cap out at 512GB but with faster read/write speed using UHS-II.

    Zf Released!

Just got mine, woohoo! Some things I love and some I do not. I like the all black, it looks classy and doesn't scream, "look at me!". I'm not a big fan of how it fits in my hand. I ordered a SmallRig bracket that should be here tomorrow or the next day and I'm hopeful it will be an ergonomic...

Looking for something more portable on a budget

Cant go wrong with FX mirrorless, buy used if you want a deal. I wouldn't invest in DX mirrorless, (not for an only body anyways)- the IBIS in FX mirrorless is too valuable not to have. If low light is important to you, I'd be looking at the newer sensors/processors, not the old stuff that's...

    Post your latest purchases.

Clearing out the rest of the F mount to fully commit to Z. Just purchased the new Zf. The only way it's currently available is with the 24-70 f4 on Nikonusa so my Z6 along with my previous copy of the 24-70 f4 is heading out the door too. I really like that lens, its light weight and gets...

Anyone owned both the D7200 and D7100?

It takes time to calibrate every lens with that camera, I think there’s a bank of 20 it’ll remember and the best ones I found were the ones that went beyond that global adjustment the camera offers using those usb lens docks. Since time isn’t on your side and the D800 is long in the tooth...

Anyone owned both the D7200 and D7100?

Hi @Peter7100 If you havent yet, try that Tokina 11-16 on your D800. Just keep your D800 in FX mode and zoom the lens to 16mm. It's a very solid 16mm prime on a full frame camera, (Tokina lenses in general work fantastically well with those high MP sensors). In fact, I almost quit mirrorless...
