Getting foot surgery next month. So, will be doing random shooting. I might be able to hobble out for some macro and nature. No driving for 2 months.

After several years of wanting a better zoom, I finally grabbed it. I have been using two 70-300 old 3rd party lenses. I can now crop in the Nikon image and get a sharp image. So, now to play!!

Thanks to RocketCowboy I have my second 610. Since I work at the post office, I got to grab it early. Will be checking it out. Came with low miles, wu-1b, cable remote, and battery grip.

Looking at a new desk top. What main specs should I be looking at to keep my photo shop programs running smoothly? Right now I have a dying laptop, that I will be sending back on warranty and getting desk top before I do.

Had shoulder surgery today. Feeling pretty good. mostly arthritis debris removal and minor calcium deposits. Will be doing tripod and one handed shots for a few weeks. it will be a task. as i sit here typing with one hand!!lol

Why is my camera timing out in bulb mode?? I have never had this problem before. I went out after 45 minutes to see if my picture turned out and the action timed out before hand. ????

My old 70-300 spectrum 7 quit focusing. Looking for 70-300 Nikon for a good price.

I have been on here close to 5 years. I had no problem downloading photos with Metadata. Now through the same process photos show up as attachments and I have to hit keys to type. No other site does this.
