havent had much time for photos last week and this week. Wife and i are getting ready for our 25th wedding anniverary party. So here is a photo of us 25 yrs ago.

was able to do my first wedding last week. took a few days to pp. got some great shots and some bad. got great comments for being my first time. also got some helpfull tips from local photographers on my lighting. otherwise i learned a lot of what to do next time and what not to do.

ok! Im on a budget right now. what flash would be average for a wedding that is going to be in a community center. the bride isnt too concerned,bot i want to have at least a good bounce flash. or am i good to get the sb400 to start with.

i downloaded a free trial of an HDR program. was pretty impressed. cant show pics till i buy it. Gonna have to save up the money.

want to get another lense. i have the 18-55 and 55-200. should i trade in both and get a 18-270. 0r keep both and add a 50mm to the lot. i want an indoor lense for parties and weddings,but also want the 18-270 for the on the go lense. or will the 18-270 work for me overall.

was testing the macro setting on my camera today. wasnt getting qaulity pics with it set to this mode. when i do most of my shots i use the manual mode. so i adjusted the speed to 200 and f/16 metering to spot and af to dynamic. what a difference. got some great shots. planning to get macro...

after looking at reviews of different cameras i chose the d3100. i havent put it down since i got it. trying different things and tricks. so far i am enjoying it.
