Has anyone heard of a module that will allow you to geotag your photos by using your phone as a GPS module. I saw that there are a couple bluetooth dongles out there, but they all have their own separate GPS receivers. Why not use your phone as the receiver?

Has anyone purchased something to geotag your photos without using the Nikon GP-1?

As the title says. I'm having trouble finding if the D3100 can support SDXC and SDHC UHS-I cards?

I'm having trouble finding if the D7000 can support SDHC UHS-I cards. There's so many different specs out there right now between read/write speed, class, and SD-whatever, it's hard to tell.

I'm astounded that the Nikonites community has grown so fast. In a little less than 8 months we've had 4,000 new members! So to keep that trend going here are a couple useful things to get the word out that our community exists to other Nikon shooters... One easy way is to link to Nikonites...

Engadget's gear of CES 2011 -- Engadget They posted a similar shot of cameras last year. Considering most of the cameras I saw at CES were Canon, it's a statement to say 'we're using Nikon'.

I went to CES this year mainly to take a look at some new phones. I knew that in most cases the lighting would be bad for taking pics. I purchased a SB-700 right before I went. The built in bounce card was a lifesaver! The room these were taken in was moderately lit: HTC Thunderbolt vs Samsung...

I was told at CES by the Nikon rep that there is a firmware update available that allows the sb-700 to recycle faster. Unfortunately I can't find it on the Nikon website. Maybe it's not out yet?
