Here are a few shots made this weekend with the Nikon D7000. What do you think?

sRGB color space versus Adobe RGB color space. I've heard that Adobe RGB Color spaces yields better coloration but needs to be converted before uploading to labs and to the web. Is this correct or am in misunderstanding this?

I picked up a used AF Nikkor 35-70 1:3.3-4.5 for $35.00 so really cheap. I didn't have to much time to test it out too well. But I am wondering if it was so cheap because it's just not that great of a lens. It doesn't seem to be that sharp and I get quite a few blurred photos in comparison...

Took a walk out by a lake and found some dragonflies. Here are a few of the shots.

When I import the photos from the camera to View NX2 they are black when I click on each individual picture they display correctly. Is there something I need to adjust to get the thumbnails to display correctly and not as black?

What if any special care should be taken in preparation for photographing in greenhouse type environments? I understand that the D7K is weather sealed but that does not mean that the lens is etc...Is it best to place the camera in the camera bag and allow it to acclimate so to speak? What about...

Not the best. But my first attempt with the D7000. This is shot handheld no tripod. I just wanted to see how this camera differs from my old one. I could use a bit longer zoom lens. Perhaps next purchase? This was shot in Manual Mode, Mode F/5.6, shutter speed 1/250, ISO 100 Matrix Metered

A few shots later this is taken in Aperture Priority Mode. I think this one turned out a bit better. This is my SC BC Willow.

Okay this is one of my first test shots, going to take a few more and then dive in to reading the manual...So lost. Took these test shots on auto mode. Going to play with the menus and try the aperture priority mode. I hope this works correctly. I had to attempt to re size it to be able post it.
