Hopefully next time I will have more time to shot instead of battling traffic. They are slightly skiddish but not as much as some birds so I was able to get a few shots off before it took off.

Lovely Gray Hawk during today's Rapture Flight.

This was taken in late October before the field was harvested. These birds were enjoying a feeding frenzy and offering the observers a splendid display.

Here is one shot from today with the 55-300 before it started to rain... She cooperated for a few seconds :)

Here's one I really messed up in my dash to test it before all the light disappeared. In my temporary madness I forgot to adjust the EV and it was way underexposed. That will teach me...Missed shot due to my own error. Kicking self now. And I should have slowed the shutter speed down...I tried...

Playfulness...

I just find this one humorous...not for it's photographic composition quality but rather for the expression on her face. It just had me rolling. This is my smooth coat BC. These two shots were taken with my Nikon 50 f 1.8D lens. I finally got an opportunity to really use it in the last few days...
