I got two of these sets last week; one for the MacBook Pro and one for the iMac. I definitely see a speed improvement over the original configurations, especially on the MacBook Pro. I'm now running the MacBook Pro at 16 GB instead of 4 GB, and the iMac at 24 GB instead of 8 GB. WM
