Out playing around in the rain last night... Then it really started raining hard, so I played inside instead.

I thought it strange there was no EXIF for the photo taken by the Kindle, so I investigated it. Looks like when I FTP'd the photo from the Kindle to my server, not only did it strip the EXIF, it made the file considerably smaller. This I will have to look into. Here's the EXIF I was looking...

12/20/2013 Here's one from my new camera! A Kindle HDX 8.9 8MP 5P lens f/2.2 I have no idea what 5P means, but there it is! I was kinda hoping to learn more from the EXIF, but there doesn't appear to be any. Maybe I have something turned off on the Kindle.

12/19/2013 Wasn't quite sure how to shoot fog, but there it was just staring at me. So I tried different settings, subjects in the foreground, subjects in the background, no subject. Dunno... Here's one I took of nothing though. I'll have to read up on that.

12/14/2013 It was suppose to start snowing at midnight. The radar said it started snowing at midnight. Nothing. Waited. Nothing. Wife at work said it was snowing like crazy there. Nothing here. She's 40 miles west of me. She said she just got someone (in the ER) from Napoleon who said it...

12/13/2013 So here I am waiting in the barn like an idiot for the snowstorm to arrive so I can try some night time snow shots. Satellite says we're right on the edge. I'm almost freezing as the wind is blowing through the open door when I realize I could probably wait for the snow to arrive...
