Can you use an IF lens on a d3300 and will it be auto focus? I researched but am more confused than ever. Paul

Thinking of buying an expensive lens for my 3300. Due to the built in autofocus-which cameras would accept the lenses I currently have? I'm assuming I will want to upgrade in the future.

I've been using shutter priority recently. I can set higher shutter speeds and still use exposure compensation-when in manual I cannot use EC! Just wondering what your preferred mode is for shooting and why you prefer it. Paul

I went to edit profile and put in my camera model and then the 4 lenses I have. When I make an entry on the forum, it shows my camera but does not list the lenses. How do I get them on my posts so that readers know what glass I have? Paul

I have been playing around with the NIK collection and have determined that the one feature I would use is the Dynamic Skin Softener filter. The rest I can do as well with lightroom i.e. sharpening ect. Have any of you put any of the other processes into your work flow?

and although the settings are exactly the same, when viewing with ViewNx2, one shows the focus point and one doesn't. I just don't understand why? I have noticed that the focus point is sporadic. Paul

Why is view NX not showing focus point. The photos are raw with no processing yet but I am unable to learn from them because focus point is not showing.
