RAF Cosford Airshow?? most of the issues have been raised, f16 aperture will have slowed your AF down a bit, i generally dont go beyond f8 at airshows. 1/320th will still give you good prop blur 1/320th at f8

Who doesn't love a Ferrari? Suppose i'll have to invest in a filter for this lens rather than use funky settings. Lee and Fotodiox systems are so bloody expensive tho!:(

What @Blacktop said. Atmospheric conditions always affect long distance shots. Heat haze in hot weather can also spoil shots at much shorter distances.
