    Horses on the move.

I just got my car pulled over and was in a hurry to get a picture of a horse on his back rolling in the snow when a train next to the field blew its whistle and startled the horses. Very nice to watch.

Re: Weebee's 365 thread Jan. 30, 2014 A great day. My wife can't pick on me. She just turned the same age as me. And, my packages came! I won't bore you with the charger. Simple and cheap. Now the Blackrapid strap, that's another story. I bought the Metro. I put it on my camera and the first...

Re: New D3100 owners For taking pictures of small items a photo box is a great investment. It eliminates glare and allows you to adjust for shadows where you want them. The one pictured was under 40.00 shipped. For portraits you need a decent tripod. Since the 3100 doesn't have a remote I...

    Manatee and turtles

Found these buried in my old laptop. A vacation we took to Florida about 7 years ago. Had a blast down there.

    Manfrotto Head

For a mono pod I went with the Giottos Professional MM9750. I put a 3pod quick release plate and base on it. The mono pod is excellent. It gives you a very secure means of supporting your camera. I'm thinking a tilt and pan ballhead would work good with this. I have the K3 ball head on my...
