Man, that sucks. I took some bird photos, while at work, and on my way home splattered one all over my truck grille. Poor fella.

have gotten a lot of those packages recently. It saves money to do it that way. The USPS will pick up the packages at the UPS depot in the area and deliver it to your house. Saves the UPS truck from having to make the run to your house. Does probably add a day to the delivery time though. Probably a greater savings for the ones that live out away from a city that has a UPS hub though.

I see. Since these packages have free shipping I guess I can't complain either. Just haven't had this done before.

I think they are calling this "Smart Ship". I have gotten a bunch of those type deliveries over the past couple years.

Yes, that's what it is. I just never heard of it before. Live and learn. Thanks for explaining this. I get antsy waiting for my toys! :)

A great day. My wife can't pick on me. She just turned the same age as me. And, my packages came! I won't bore you with the charger. Simple and cheap. Now the Blackrapid strap, that's another story. I bought the Metro. I put it on my camera and the first thing I thought to myself is why I didn't get a strap like this before? I love how the camera is at my side instead of right in front of me screaming, "Look out!, Tourist coming through!" It makes you look, at least, like you have a camera and know what to do with it. Yeah!, I got em fooled there at least! The strap seems comfy. I haven't worn it much yet. Except to put it on and look in a mirror. I'm happy I bought this. Really happy. If you never tried a strap like this I highly recommend it.

My new 3POD ball head system came. Wow! Nice and beefy, Perfect match for my mono pod.

Looks good, congrats. Also congrats on the BR strap, I love mine. It so nice to carry your camera the way these straps allow. I use my Sport in the summer months without any issues or getting too hot from it. I use it all the time and I also just got their wrist strap for quick trips in the truck instead of holding in my arm while trying to get in and out.
