    Eye-Fi Cards???

My wife does not do well with technical things. I guess that is why she keeps me around. Automating downloads to her computer is a thing she will like. I noticed last week while we were in Bellingrath Gardens that she would not keep up with me. I would turn around and go back and she would be...

    Don's Old Daily Dabblings

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings If I keep asking my wife if I can get this it makes it easier to get camera gear or guns. (She never lets me buy this car though)

    Camera straps - again

Not really high tech, just different than the ones that come with cameras. I have found them to be so very comfortable and much easier to use than the ones that go around your neck. Also I think that it is a little safer to carry.

Nikon faces backlash over hunting rifle optics

Nikon faces backlash over hunting rifle optics | Amateur Photographer I really don't see the problem. Most of the hunters I know do more to promote conservation and to protect wildlife than anyone else. It is in their interest to make sure that the wildlife populations stay at a sustainable...

    Shoe photography with photo box

I assume this is the look you are going after? You are going to have to shoot in the manual mode and it will help if you shoot at a higher aperture (Larger Number) this will make the image sharper. Play with the shutter speed till you get the look that you are happy with.

    Raw + jpeg b&w

I have not done any B&W yet to amount to anything. I have been playing this morning in Photoshop with converting to B&W to get the results I wanted to make it look like what I did in the darkroom many eons ago.

    Watermark fun with Photoshop

Well after many tries at automating watermarking/copyrighting my photos I think I finally found a good and easy way. One button does it. All I have to do now it to hit "F12" and my copyright mark / logo magically appears. Not so much magic but a few hours of research and then designing my...

    Don's Old Daily Dabblings

Re: Don's Daily Dabblings There has been a good bit of discussion about watermarking our photos lately so I decided I needed to work on that project. This is the first test. Have not decided if I like it for not yet. It is a cross between a logo and a straight Watermark.
