a few more spiders, looks like the road runners, quails and owls have disappeared from where i normally shot them, hope its only temp. i like the armored type plating effect on its back, its different from the black widows that i usually only see.

22nd Aug 2014 sitting waiting on a pizza to go i heard chirping, looked up and spotted these, walked back to the car and got my camera, failed thought as i had to go auto:o to get the shot, it was to dark.

21st Aug 2014 if only they would land some where more friendly. they just appeared out of a field and i stopped the car and hung out the window, its as well it was a back road with no one about more storm clouds?? a warning for more thunder tonight?

another bittern just walking along the ditch at the side of the road, it didnt seem too bothered with me stopping and snapping away, i was about 9 feet away from it. he ruffled his feathers.
