this is the little wooded area that i usually troll though owl and spider alley, this one was about half way down, he was kind enough to fly out of the shadows to a better lit area

29th Sept 2014 a few from todays walkabout, nights are closing in fast. i spotted this little lady, i wonder how long she will last in the wild?? resting in the last rays of the day, i passed by 30 mins later and she was gone

well this crappy shot hits my theory on the head, my focus point (spot meter) is bang center of its back, so i guess its me with a bit of shake??? this is standing on the dock so i cant blame it on the boat moving.

My TV has died, (temporary) the lamp blew (DLP), i have ordered 2 new bulbs (1 spare) from amazon, now a 3 day wait, so we have gone from a 73" to a 21", too darn lazy to disconnect the 60" from upstairs to fill its spot, it means i have plenty of PC time to get caught up on here, kids aren't...

i had to wake the owl up, found him sleeping, standing on dead branches trying to make owl sounds did the trick some size of Talons on him? a cactus flower in bloom

27th Sept 2014 got my shots in early today, not that overly impressed with them, possibly just on the wrong side of the sun ???

26th Sept 2014 my work fish tank is finally on the up, still some traces of the cyano but all in all far better than this time last week, its under another 3 day black out just to be sure, now the OT has stopped i will have it clear next week.
