29th Oct 2016 this is the only pic i got at San Jacinto before i heard the bang bangs.

just looking at a lower ISO shot.

3 off the same splash, you can see the rock falling in the first shot.

a few splash shots seeing as nothing else was around.

more cormorants heading west to the coast, Ryan tossing rocks into the pond (rock is top center).

same type of spider from the opposite side. both seem to be wrapping up a honey bee.

28th Oct 2016 thats the best macro shot i could get with my 70-300, handheld and timing the wind movement.

i like the darker one @mikew if i made the head a little lighter i lost alot of the coloring where as yours kept it. thanks.

anyone up for a challenge to remove the noise and let me see what i could do if i had CC Lightroom etc. Its a crappy low light pic to start with, but would like to see what improvements i could be doing. PM me for an original raw file and email address.

@wev is the yellowish tail seasonal/breeding colors?
